You are all in my prayers. I will always remember the days I shared with Boyd as fellow pipers. They are truly some of my happiest days. He couldn’t help but to bring smiles, peace and joy to all of us. I will miss him dearly. Boyd, Heaven is blessed to have you as one of their new pipers…remember, “Hold the holds and cut the cuts!”

Dear Aunt Pat, Susan, David, Laura and Tom- I write with a heavy heart as I think back on all the wonderful times our families have shared together. The warmth and kindness extended by your family to ours over the decades has has left indelible marks on me that will never be forgotten. I will never forget the thrill of serving as an acolyte at your dad's ordaination. Just to have been included that day meant so much to me. Also, the memory of summer vacations together, playing GI Joe with David and spying on the girls. In the summer of 1988, as we were transitioning to Richmond after losing my job on Wall Street, there was never any hesitation when I asked if I could stay for some time. The answer was "of course." The constant denominator to all of these memories is your dad, a rare, cultured man who loved the arts and sciences. Your loss is great and I feel pain for your pain. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. I love you all.
