Brad Knudson

Brad Knudson, age 67, of Crookston, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025. He was born on February 25, 1958, one of six children to parents Donald and Sybil (Kelly) Knudson.

Brad grew up in Crookston and graduated from Crookston Central High School in 1976. He laid the foundation for a future marked by service and diligence. Following high school, he began his professional journey, working for Burlington Northern for several years. In 1984, he began working for the Minnesota Department of Transportation. He was devoted to this career for 40 years, constantly learning and growing professionally before his retirement in January of 2025.

Throughout his life, Brad was revered as a loving son, brother, and uncle. His warm and nurturing spirit left a mark on all those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, reflecting his commitment to his faith and community.

Brad is survived by his sisters, Kathy Tuseth and Caryl (Craig) Forseth; siblings-in-law, Jeanine Knudson, Karyn Knudson, Arlin Volker; nephews, Grant Tuseth, Issac Tuseth, Ben Waxler, Jason Cichy, Josh Cichy, Matthew Rohlinger, Eric Rohlinger; and nieces, Lexia Waxler, Lily Waxler, Stephanie Skvarla. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Sybil Knudson; siblings, Greg Knudson, Mark Knudson, Elizabeth Volker; brother-in-law, Dan Tuseth; nephew, Heath Waxler; niece, Livia Waxler; and other family members and friends.

The legacy that Brad leaves behind is one of love and support, serving as an inspiration to those around him.

A memorial service will be held on at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Crookston, Minnesota on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation with the family will begin one hour prior at 10:00 a.m., with a luncheon to follow the service.
