Brad Provence Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Miller and Miller Funeral Home - Valliant on Jul. 22, 2025.
Leslie Bradley "Brad" J.D. Provence passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 55. He was born on July 2, 1970, in Hugo, Oklahoma to Arley and Shirley (Cogburn) Provence. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Diana Louise Provence and son, Tyler Provence.
Brad was a lifelong resident of Rufe, Oklahoma. He worked in the logging industry, falling trees, skidding and loading logs. Brad rarely missed the Man of the Woods competition held at the Owa Chita Festival at Broken Bow Lake in his early 20's. He liked hunting for arrowheads and driftwood, fishing, camping, playing pool and going to the yearly Provence family reunions, where he was able to catch up with old friends and loved ones. Brad was a jokester and loved playing pranks on people, but he was also a giving person and would help anyone in need. Being a father was his greatest achievement and the love he had for his children was evident when he looked at them. Brad will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Brad is survived by his children, April Eaves and husband, Matt, Jay Provence, Tristan Provence and Aubree Provence; grandchildren, Nate, Jacey, Jailee, Ashton, Bella, Gunner, Sophie and Eliana; brothers, Matt Provence and Roxanna, Tim Provence and Brenda and Chris Provence and wife, Ambia along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
