Bradd Sweeny Obituary
September 10, 2025 at the age of 45. Born and raised in St. Augustine, FL, Sean was a dedicated life
partner, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. His warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who
knew him.
Sean was a proud and loving father to his children- Olivia (granddaughter Ivyella), Kaiah, Noah, and
Rubie; with his life partner Paula Hays. His love for his family was immeasurable, and he dedicated
himself to creating memories with them.
A true craftsman, Sean had a passion for creating with his hands. From building surfboards to mastering
stone masonry and everything in between, he always found joy helping bring other people's visions to
life. He was a business owner who took pride in his work. He had a love for surfing, fishing and being
out on the water especially with his family and friends.
Sean was preceded in death by his father, Bradd Sweeny (2022), and is survived by his mother,
Catherine Sweeny, and his stepfather, Tony Musick. He will also be deeply missed by his siblings: Melissa
Sweeny, Christina Sweeny, and Summar Tompkins (husband Ross). Sean was a cherished uncle to many
nieces and nephews, and his cousins and friends will carry his memory in their hearts.
His legacy lives on in the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the work he left behind. Sean's
memory will forever be held close by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing
him.
Details of a celebration of Sean's life and a benefit for his children are to be determined.
May Sean rest in peace, knowing he was loved deeply and will be missed by all.
