Bradford (Brad) Duncan Cargill, age 52, of Austin, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. He was born October 5, 1957, in Bryan, Texas, to Robert E. Thomas and Ella Mae Thomas. Bradford graduated from Jersey Village High School in Houston. He was a Varsity Baseball player and President of the FFA. He enjoyed all sports, including, but not limited to, the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys, boating, family and his many friends. Survivors include his wife, Michelle Cargill of Austin; parents, Robert E. Thomas and Ella Mae Thomas of Bryan; sister, Tammy J. Thomas of Houston; nieces and nephews, Erin Elizabeth Mount, Robert Hayden Mount, Shane Thomas Cargill and Shelley Delane Cargill, and his beloved pets, Harlee and Junior. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2010 at Northview Baptist Church in Bryan, Texas, with Pastor Ronnie Lunsford officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by a Prayer service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish Lake Travis Chapel with a Reception following in the Magnolia Room. For all the people lucky to have shared in his life, his heart opened up and gave them many loving and life filled memories. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2499 Capital of TX Hwy, Ste. A204, Austin, Texas 78746. You may leave memories at www.wcfish.com
