Bradford Hagan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin on Jan. 19, 2025.
Dr. Bradford James Hagan, affectionately known as Brad, a member of the Gallatin community, was born on Friday, May 1st, 1953, to the late Howlett and Betty Reynolds Hagan, and was received Home with great joy on Friday, January 17th, 2025, at the age of 71.
The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, at 02:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin. Interment will follow the service in Sumner Memorial Gardens with Chad Penick, Jeremy Overstreet, Carter Penick, Hunter Penick, Brayden Overstreet, and Bennett Overstreet serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, January 20th from 02:00 p.m. – 07:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 21st from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 02:00 p.m.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Tony Dwayne Overstreet; brothers, Brian Hagan, Robert Hagan, and Billy Hagan.
He is survived by loving wife of 40 years, Mary Elizabeth Hagan of Gallatin; daughter, Deborah Overstreet of Gallatin; grandchildren, Joli Overstreet, Brad Penick, Chad Penick, and Jeremy Overstreet; great-grandchildren, Cole Penick, Carter Penick, Hunter Penick, Miller Penick, Charlee Penick, Bryndle Penick, Briar Penick, Bennett Overstreet, and Brayden Overstreet.
Dr. Hagan served his community for 25+ years through his business, Hagan Chiropractic Clinic, and later retired and drove a school bus for the Sumner County School System. He was saved by the grace of God and joined Victory Missionary Baptist Church later following the Lord by transferring his membership to McFerren Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to farm and ride horses.
Brad will be remembered for his kind demeanor, sweet smile, the love and care he gave to his family, and the way he lived every day of his life looking forward to the promise of Heaven. His immeasurable impact changed many lives, and he will soon not be forgotten.
In honor of Brad, instead of memorial contributions to a big, fancy organization, please donate to the Sumner County School Lunch Program- something that was near and dear to his heart.
