Bradford Stevenson Obituary

Bradford B. Stevenson, 73, loving husband of Susan (Lipka) Stevenson, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Hartford Hospital. Brad loved his family and made them his priority in life, followed by boating and fishing with his best friend, Perry. He was a long time Yankees and Giants fan, as well as UCONN basketball. Brad was one of the friendliest person that I have ever came in contact with, wile working for Midstate Medical center. The forty years that we worked together was always a pleasure! With his quiet wit I can always remember the talks we used to have, & the way he could always help me with whatever question I would have regarding anything medical! He will be surely missed by all who knew him and his beautiful wife. Rest well my friend! Until we meet again! Harriet Canty!

A FANTASTIC nurse and a reluctant but AMAZING administrator. He was also my business partner, my battle buddy and my confidante during the BEST years of MediQuick. I will truly miss you friend. May the waters be smooth as glass and the tuna plentiful.

I´m so sorry to hear of Brad´s passing..
I also worked at the same hospital for the same amount of years and I never knew him that well personally, but he was very much liked by everyone, and a great nurse.
I will never forget his kindness to me years ago when I was in the ER laying on a stretcher in the hallway , writhing in horrible pain from a kidney stone.
He saw me suffering and gave me a dose of medication which immediately eased my pain and got me through the worst of it.
He was the epitome of of what a nurse should be.
Rest in Peace Brad

Oh Sue, I´m so sorry. There were so many things to love about Brad but what I loved most was his sarcastic dry sense of humor. Aside from that, he was one of the most outstanding nurses I´ve ever worked with. He always brightened up my day. I am so very sorry for your loss.
