Bradley Michael "Brad" Coffey

Brad Coffey, 42, passed away unexpectedly in Colorado Springs, Colorado on April 10, 2022.
Born on February 4, 1980, Brad grew up in Colorado Springs and graduated from Coronado High School. He worked with special education children, most recently at Grand Peak Academy. There, and at previous schools, including Chinook Trail Elementary, Taylor Elementary, and Carver Elementary, he devotedhimself to helping students with disabilities to learn and thrive. He was pursuing a degree in psychology from Grand Canyon University to increase his abilities to help prepare children, youth and parents to navigate through the social and emotional waves of life together with love and understanding.
Brad was a creative and philosophical person whose life goal was to help others meet their potential, live in freedom from fear, ask questions, and ultimately know Jesus and the unsurpassable love of God. Under his gaming moniker "Bard of Wisdom," he described himself this way: "Because of my background, I'm passionate for people to speak with their own voice, be it verbal or non. That is what a Bard does, repeats the voice of others during their travels... So, join me in sharing your voice... your wisdom!"
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy.
Brad is survived by his wife, Alicia; his father, Mike; brother, Steve, and sister-in-law, Tiffani; grandmother, Gerri; beloved family in Wisconsin, Colorado, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky; and cherished rescue dog, Skylar.
