Dodgeville - Bradley (Brad) Joseph Lutterman, age 67 of Dodgeville, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 surrounded by his family at Upland Hills Hospital. He was born June 5, 1956 in Madison, MN, the son of Del and Marian (Pepka) Lutterman.
He graduated from Marshall High School in 1974. After high school he attended Pipestone vocational school for grocery store management. A new job opportunity would bring him to Dodgeville, WI in 1978. He spent his entire career in the grocery industry, at one point owning his own store.
He married Deb, in March of 1980 and they were married nearly 44 years. Together they built a beautiful life and shared it with their three children, Kelly, Kyle and Kristen. Brad was a devoted dad to his children. He taught them the important things in life, how to cook, how to mow the yard and how to budget and save their money. As they grew he spent much of his free time driving them to and from practice and he was always in the stands, intensely cheering them on.
Over the last 30+ years Brad was a staple in the community. You would always find a friendly face at Dick's Supermarket (eventually Piggly Wiggly) where you would be greeted with a smile and perhaps a story. He loved to listen to music, play golf with his wife and friends and watch the Badgers and Packers. His favorite place the last few years was his cabin on the Mississippi River, it was his happy place. He loved to take out his pontoon, go fishing, but most of all he loved to cook for his family.
His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren Kenzy, Ayden and Kinley. Kenzy and "Papa" loved to cook together and he would spoil her with rice krispie treats. Ayden and "Papa'' would read books together, go mow grass, plow snow together and play basketball. Kinley and "Papa" shared a love for the pontoon and the river.
He is survived by his wife, Debra (Luvin) Lutterman; his children Kelly (John) Eisele, Kyle Lutterman, Kristen Lutterman; his beloved grandchildren Kenzy, Ayden and Kinley. Brad is also survived by his siblings Doug (Deb) Lutterman, Kris (Bob) Danielowski & Tim (Pat) Lutterman.
Bradley was preceded in death by his parents Del and Marian Lutterman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Ss. MARY & PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH in Mineral Point. Fr. Alex Carmel will officiate. A visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 until 11:50 AM at the church.
