Bradley Lund Munro, 96, of Edmond, (formerly of Bartlesville) passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025.

Bradley was born June 3, 1929, in Anaconda, Montana, to Hamish Gordon and Hildur (Lund) Munro. His father was an immigrant from Scotland and his mother's parents immigrated from Sweden. Bradley graduated from Anaconda High School in 1947 and attended Montana State University in Bozeman, graduating with a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering in 1952.

He accepted a job with Phillips Petroleum Company following college and moved to Bartlesville. A year later he met Earlene Cleaver who taught school in Bartlesville. She had recently graduated from Central State College in Edmond, where she grew up. They were married on July 10, 1954.

Two months after marrying, they moved to Denver, Colorado for the Army. Bradley was assigned to Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, an Army hospital. He worked in the lab on tuberculosis. After two years in Denver they moved back to Bartlesville and to Brad's job at Phillips. They remained there for more than two years, then Phillips transferred them to Borger, Texas. After another two years, he transferred back to Bartlesville, where they remained until 2023.

Brad retired from Phillips in 1986 and accepted a job with Service and Technology Corporation. Phillips contracted with them and Brad was working on the same projects. He retired in 1993 before the birth of their first grandchild.

Brad was very active in his church, Bartlesville First Baptist Church. He taught Junior High boys in Sunday School, was on the finance committee and was an active deacon. Every Sunday he drove a church bus to Osage County to take children and students to church. He also drove a church bus to transport students to various church related activities and to Falls Creek camp during the summer. After retirement he served on the board of Lighthouse Outreach Center, a homeless shelter in Bartlesville. He continued to be very active volunteering for many ministries in the church.

Brad is survived by his wife, Earlene Munro; daughter, Susan Hamilton and her husband, Kenneth; son, Steven Munro and his wife Deborah; grandchildren, Adam Hamilton, David Hamilton, Lauren Hamilton, and Rebekah Munro, and step granddaughter, Bethany Griffin.
