Bradley Stephen Nordholt, a beloved husband, father, son and brother, passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 51. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on September 27, 1973, Brad was known for his strong work ethic, generous nature, and unwavering commitment to his family.
Educated in trade school for plumbing, Brad pursued his passion for the trade and worked diligently for 33 years, eventually establishing his own successful plumbing company, Nordholt Plumbing LLC. His devotion to his craft was matched only by his devotion to his family. In 1993, Brad married the love of his life, Mattie Danielle (Drew) Nordholt, with whom he shared 31 years of marriage filled with love and laughter.
In addition to his professional achievements, Brad found joy in simple pleasures like fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending quality time with family and friends. Described as hardworking, caring, and family-oriented, Brad's legacy of kindness and dedication will live on through his loved ones
Brad is survived by his loving wife, Mattie; children, Kyle Stephen Nordholt and Taylor Danielle Nordholt; mother, Linda Ellen Nordholt; sisters, Lisa (Andrew) Cook, Angela (Jim) Turner, and Kristin (Samuel) Arnes; mother and father in law, Sheryll and Danny Drew; sister and brother-in-law, Mickie and Donny Long; brother-in-law, Matthew Drew; as well as numerous extended family members and friends who cherished him deeply.
Brad is preceded in death by his father, Stephen Edward Nordholt; maternal grandparents, Howard and Harriet Lange; paternal grandparents, Melvin and Henrietta Nordholt; and his uncle, Douglas Rieman Nordholt.
A memorial service to honor Brad's life will be held at the Swartz Family Community Mortuary on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 7:00 pm, with a public viewing preceding from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Contributions in Brad's memory can be made to "IC Anglers Inc." at Indian Creek High School.
Brad's spirit and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, knowing he made a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to have him in their lives.
