Braedan Cameron Cordelle, 17, beloved son, brother, grandson, and nephew was called home to be with the Lord on January 7, 2025. He was born in Mobile, AL on February 7, 2007, to Jessica McLeod and Steven Cordelle.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Willard and Rosie Harrington, Marion Moseley, Jimmy Reeves, and Roland Cordelle.
Braedan left behind his parents, Jessica (Justin) McLeod and Steven Cordelle; his brothers, Brian Cordelle, Caleb Cordelle, Brantlee McLeod; his sisters, Kylie Cordelle, Hailey Burgett; his grandparents, Jesse (Sandra) Moseley, Jewel Cordelle, David (Christie) McLeod, Ashley (Drew) Prest; his great-grandparents, Shirley Oswalt, Jeanette Moseley, Lynn (Pamela) McLeod, Janice Reeves (Thomas) Basinger; his aunts, Amanda (Kyle) Reniewicz, Ashley (Joey) Boggs, Sarah (Dean) Hammac, Charity, Cailey, Aubrey Moseley, Angela Cordelle, Jordan McLeod; his uncles, Doug (Diane) Cordelle, Ronald (Jennifer) Cordelle, James (Anna) Cordelle; cousins, Tyler, Whittney, Noah, Ella, Abbey, Levi, Jacob, Gracelynn, Clayton, Makenzie, Sara, Bailey, Dylan, Emily, Adam, Brant, Daniel, Avah, and Camille, along with many other family and friends.
Braedan was our angel baby; he always wanted his friends to smile and laugh. He always made sure that he comforted and made everyone smile who was not having the best day. He was always doing for his siblings and always making sure that his mama and Justin were taken care of. Braedan was always the one willing to help and enjoyed staying busy. Anyone that knew his heart, loved him. He enjoyed being with his family, aunts and cousins. All of the babies loved his sweet spirit. He loved to joke around and make everyone laugh. He always made sure that his mama, Justin and his siblings knew that he loved them with tons of hugs and, " I Love You's". He always made sure to hug his mom and dad goodnight. Braedan was always caring, loving, and respectful.
Braedan enjoyed many things. He was a member of the FFA. He loved going on field trips; he dreamed of being and engineer one day. He enjoyed school and being with his friends. He was also a member of Wilmer First Baptist Church Youth where he enjoyed taking summer trips and going to church camp. Braedan also enjoyed spending time with his brothers and sisters. He liked to play video games, going fishing, and taking beach trips.
Braedan, you are a shining light, and your spirit will live on in our hearts forever until we meet again. Let us celebrate the love and joy that Braedan brought into our lives.
"Lay away a place for me cause as soon as I'm done, I'll be on my way to live eternally".
Ephesians 4:32 " Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you".
Isaiah 57:1-2 (1) "The righteous parishes, and no man takes it to heart; Merciful me are taken away, while no one considers that the righteous is taken away from evil". (2) He shall enter into peace; They shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness".

He was the sweetest person I´ve ever meet he was like a older brother that I´ve never had I rode the bus three or four times with him and Caleb I remember asking them how is high school because I hated middle school because I got bullied soooo bad and Braedan would tell me you need to enjoy middle school because high school is worst. I wish he was still here because he was sooo sweet and would make me laugh. LLB
