Braezon Cook Obituary

Visit the Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home - Tremonton website to view the full obituary.

Braezon Brent Cook was born December 27, 2010, in Logan, UT. to Jason and Trinitty Lyn Cook. Braezon left this world unexpectedly November 05, 2025, at his home in Tremonton, UT.

Braezon attended McKinley Elementary through 2nd grade, he finished grade school at Century Elementary, where he made a small tight knit group of friends, whose friendship still remains to this day. Braezon completed 6th and 7th grade at Alice C. Harris Intermediate School. While at ACHI Braezon received the Husky Builder of the Month award in March 2023 and May 2024, each time being nominated by a teacher who noticed Braezon’s intelligence and creativity and appreciated his attitude and work ethic in the classroom. Braezon also received the President’s Award for Educational Excellence for Outstanding Academic Intelligence in 2024.

Braezon was currently a student at Bear River Middle School. While in 8th grade he was again acknowledged and received the Bear of the Month Award in April 2025 for bringing good vibes and work ethic to the classroom. Braezon was currently in the 9th grade at BRMS. Braezon continued to be an outstanding student with good attendance and top-notch grades. Braez was as smart as they came, proved by his grades and the numerous acknowledgements from his teachers. He often would outsmart most adults with his quick wit and sense of humor, a trait we will sorely miss.

Braezon was a member of the 4-H for 6 years, where he showed pigs. In that time Braezon placed 8th in the hog carcass contest, received a star choice ribbon and learned how to feed and care for his show pigs. Unknowingly, Braezon always strived for perfection within himself and while showing his pigs- one year leading to a brush throwing incident in the show ring to get his pig back on track!

Braezon was a talented artist. You could always find him with a notebook and wood pencil in hand drawing and creating for fun or for his next Dungeons and Dragons character. He met with friends after school on Thursdays to put those D&D characters to the test. Among drawing his other hobbies included; creating his own YouTube channel Randomcrap111, reading, animating, playing with his cat Phred, playing the Xbox, talking on the phone for hours with friends, and playing and collecting Yu-Gi-Oh cards, trying to build the strongest deck for the next card game with friends. Braezon would often build decks to give to his friends so he could teach them how to play.

Braezon was a gentle soul, who showed friendship, kindness and unconditional love to those who had different abilities by being a peer tutor each year. He would get so excited when he was able to help one of these friends learn or do something new. Braezon had an impeccable memory. He loved history and would often make trivia games for friends and family to participate in. Very seldom did we know the answers and Braezon would enjoy educating us! Braezon loved Ramen Noodles, microwave popcorn and the occasional Mountain Dew. His favorite place to be was the comfort of his home with his cat and dog. Although his time here was short he has left a lasting impact on all who knew and loved him. May he know now just how loved and amazing he was.

Braezon is survived by his loving parents; Jason and Trinitty Lyn, older brother Isaac Lars and little sister GattLyn Jean Cook. Grandparents; Boyd and Ellen Cook, Brent and Marcy Jo Rupp, and Dave Isaacson. Great-Grandparents; DeeLoy and Jeannee Rupp. As well as his dog Nova Joan and his beloved cat Phred. Braezon is also loved and survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Braezon is preceded in death by; Great-Grandparents Clark and Barbara Cook, Grant and Muriel Nicholas, Darrell and Erlyn Pitkin, Marjorie Isaacson and David H. Isaacson. Uncles Brandon and Kyle Cook, and his great-uncle Chad Scoffield.

We as a family would like to thank the responding officers, Tremonton Fire and EMS, and the love and support we have received from countless friends, family and strangers. You have given us a sliver of light in a time of such darkness, we can never thank you enough.
