Braiden Smith Obituary
He was born Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in Natchitoches, Louisiana and was a fourth grade student at Verda Elementary School. Braiden loved playing minecraft and roblox on his cell phone and loved to read and watch marvel movies. He will be remembered as a loving little man with "an old man's soul."
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Nikki Brocato and step-father, Thomas; father, Joseph Smith; siblings, Kaylee Smith and Blaine Cameron; grandparents, Misty, Ryan and Jarreau; great-grandparents, Vicki, Vince, Joann and Christine; his Uncle Kaleb and Lilly; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Verda Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Peacock and Rev. Vince Brocato officiating. Interment will follow in Verda Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until time of services.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Ryan Johnson, Michael Allen, Jerry Kennard, Joseph Smith, Garry Cameron, Jason Kennard, Blaine Cameron and Ian Hoffpauir.
