Granddaddy, you will never be forgotten! My fondest memories are of you pulling out your Military ID anytime we went on base to let the Sentry or any other Marine know how proud you were of serving; "I'm Commander Brainard J. Belmore, USN Retired!" Those words will echo on forever! Best of all was playing a round of golf with you and Jay LaWalt, on the Fauquier Springs #15 PAR 3, you insisting on hitting your ball from the steep face of a greenside bunker while i supported you from behind by your belt so you wouldn’t topple over…of course Jay couldn’t stop laughing! You will always be missed! Fair Winds & Following Seas Commander ~ Now go dance with Betty!
