Brandon Dayne Bennett, 47, of Stansbury Park, Utah, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 9, 2026. Brandon was born on July 5, 1978, in Logan, Utah, to Boyd Nolan Bennett and Carol Ann Burbank Bennett. He graduated from Kearns High School in 1997 and built a life grounded in family, loyalty, hard work, and love. In Stansbury Park, he wasn’t just a neighbor; he was the kind of friend people knew they could count on.

More than anything, Brandon was a family man. He shared over twenty years of love and partnership with Angie Childs, and his heart lived with her and their kids, Danny and Teagan. His children were truly the center of his world. Whether it was birthdays, everyday conversations, teasing them with his quick humor, or just hanging out together, Brandon’s happiest moments were when he was simply “Dad.”

Brandon spent over 20 years on the road as a truck driver and took a lot of pride in what he did. The long days, the miles, and the hard work were all for his family. Along the way, he built friendships that meant a great deal to him. In 2021, he survived a serious truck accident that changed his health and his life. The years that followed brought ongoing medical challenges, but Brandon met them with grit and determination. Even when he wasn’t feeling his best, he was still the person who would show up, pitch in, and help anyone who needed it.

He had the funniest sense of humor. Brandon was hilarious, quick with a joke, a playful tease, or a comment that landed at exactly the right moment. His laugh was big, contagious, and impossible to ignore; when he laughed, everyone around him ended up laughing too. He had a gift for turning ordinary moments into memories.

Brandon was down-to-earth and easy to be around. He could start a conversation with anyone, anywhere, and somehow make you feel like you’d known him for years, even if you’d only just met. Family and friends were everything to him. Known affectionately as “Uncle Bubba,” he rarely left a gathering without giving out his signature big bear hugs: strong, warm, and the kind you don’t forget. He told people he loved them, and he meant it. To know Brandon was to love him.

He is survived by his beloved partner, Freedom Angela Childs; his daughter, Teagan Bennett; his son, Danny Childs; his sister, Julie (Richard) LeVander; his sister, Michelle Bennett; his brother, Gaylen Bennett; his brother, Kendall (Sarah) Bennett; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will carry his stories and his love forward. He was preceded in death by his father, Boyd Nolan Bennett; his mother, Carol Ann Burbank Bennett; and his beloved dog, Azia.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at:
5899 Bayshore Dr
Stansbury Park, UT 84074

Following the funeral, family and friends are invited to gather for a special balloon release in Brandon’s honor at the clubhouse located at:
1 Country Club Dr
Stansbury Park, UT 84074

In honor of Brandon, whose favorite colors were dark navy blue and black, the family invites those attending to wear those colors if they wish.

Brandon’s absence leaves a deep and painful void, but his love, his laugh, his kindness, and his unwavering devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of everyone who was lucky enough to know him.
