Brandon Keith Butler, 38, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky passed away Wednesday September 13, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky

Born August 7, 1985 in Morehead, Kentucky a son of  Keith Butler of Hillsboro, Kentucky and Deanna Rice Butler of Flemingsburg.

Brandon loved playing his guitar, playing xbox, target practicing, story telling, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of Rowan County Senior High School and a  former employee of Sims Dairy Queen and Rural King.

In addition to his parents, Brandon is survived by one son, Brayden Butler of Bradenton Florida; two sisters, Megan Riggs and husband Clinton of Carlisle, Kentucky and Mallory Vice and husband Tyler of Wallingford, Kentucky; four nieces, Savannah Vice, Molly Vice, Hailey Riggs, and Brooklyn Riggs; one nephew, Jack Vice; several aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Brandon is also survived by his West Virgina Family; best friend, Rob Armstrong of Morehead, Kentucky; Josh Montgomery of Bradenton, Florida who he thought of as a brother, his dog, Abe and his cat, GinGin.

A celebration of Brandons life will take place at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 16, 2023 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Flemingsburg with Pastor Rick Crank officiating. 

A gathering of family and friends will be after 12:00 noon until the hour of service. 

Casket bearers will be Clinton Riggs, Tyler Vice, Rob Armstrong, Josh Montgomery, Steve Rice, Jonathan Robinson, Alan Davis and John Sims jr.

In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.

All arrangements for Brandon Keith Butler and family are under the care and direction of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home, 405 South Main Cross Street, Flemingsburg, Kentucky 41041.
