Brandon John Calkins, who was born on July 14, 1994, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and passed away on March 26, 2026, in Mukwonago, Wisconsin, will be remembered with deep love by all who knew him. Brandon lived his life with a kind heart, a steady presence, and a spirit that brought comfort and joy to those around him. He was intelligent, friendly, and loving, qualities that were evident in the way he carried himself and in the relationships he built throughout his life. He will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but also for the warmth he shared so freely with family and friends.

Brandon was the beloved son of Karla and Jeff Calkins and the cherished brother of MacKenzie Calkins. His family was central to his life, and he held a special place in the hearts of those closest to him. The bond he shared with his parents and sister was one marked by love, loyalty, and lasting connection. His presence in their lives brought pride, laughter, and countless memories that will be treasured always.

Brandon pursued his education with determination and practical purpose. He studied welding at WCTC and also earned his CDL license there, preparing himself with skills that reflected both his work ethic and his commitment to building a strong future. His education was a reflection of the kind of person he was, someone who valued learning, responsibility, and the satisfaction of doing a job well.

Outside of work and school, Brandon found enjoyment in the things that made everyday life meaningful. He enjoyed working on his vehicles, a pastime that allowed him to combine patience, skill, and a genuine appreciation for mechanics. He also enjoyed frisbee golfing, fishing, gaming on his system, and attending professional sports games, especially baseball and basketball. These interests brought him happiness and gave him opportunities to relax, connect with others, and create memories that will live on in the hearts of those who shared them with him.

Brandon had a way of making people feel welcome and at ease. His friendly nature and loving personality left a lasting impression on friends, relatives, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was the kind of person whose presence could brighten a room, and his memory will continue to do so in the lives of those who loved him most.

Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made was meaningful and enduring. He passed away unexpectedly due to accidental causes, leaving behind a profound sense of loss and sorrow. Yet even in grief, those who knew Brandon can take comfort in remembering the joy he brought, the love he gave, and the many ways he touched the lives of others. His memory will remain a source of strength and reflection for his family and friends.

Brandon John Calkins will be dearly missed and forever remembered with love. His life, though brief, was filled with moments of connection, purpose, and affection. May he be remembered for the kindness he showed, the interests he enjoyed, and the lasting imprint he leaves on the hearts of those who loved him.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
