-Brandon liked to play baseball as a child and was a pitcher on the school baseball team. He was very calm and very intelligent. He left school when he was in high school and started working in the fields and soon after decided to go to Monterrey. He became a father at the age of 20. He loved enchiladas and drinking beer and tequila with his friends. He decided to go to the United States at the age of 22 to pursue the American dream that we all dream of full of dreams and illusions. Today he leaves us a great void in our hearts, but at the same time he leaves us his son and in him we will have him in the present. We will always remember him with much love. He was always an exceptional son, an excellent brother and an outstanding father and he was also always a great friend.
From the threshold of my pain, I write this letter to you...
My heart is invaded by sadness, with this enormous emptiness that I feel...
So many unspoken words, so many hugs that were left there waiting, plans and goals without specifying nor achieving ... If only you knew the many times that I have turned to stare at the sky imploring that this is nothing but a horrible nightmare. You left so suddenly and this huge pain in my chest that nothing can relieve it. I look for your face, your voice, your messages and I reach despair. It hurts so much the unfair way in which you had to leave. Maybe I never told you enough how much I love you and how important you are and always will be to me since you were born, you forever changed my existence. I ask God so much to take you with him to heaven and there someday reserve a little place for me. Dear son, my heart is so sad, mourning your departure, without the hope of seeing you again. My dearest son, your siblings, your father, and I are both devastated, and our hearts are completely shattered. Brandon, you left without a goodbye... even without my blessing.
