Brandon Gutierrez 30, a resident of Ranchos de Taos, passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2019.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather’s Ignacio Gutierrez and Richard Cardenas, cousin Angelo Gutierrez and aunt Bridget Martinez.
Brandon was very loving, he never hesitated when it came to helping others, he enjoyed riding his bike and cruising around with his friends, he loved and was a dedicated Green Bay Packers fan, he was employed by the Town of Taos and Vigil’s Towing.
He is survived by his mother Rita Gutierrez, father Louis Cardenas (Rita), siblings Victor Cordova (Amanda), Chris Gutierrez (Diana), Ray Gutierrez, Kianna Cardenas and Elisa Cardenas. Also, grandmother’s Sofia Gutierrez (special grandma to Brandon) and Angie Gonzales, Godparents Lisa and Luis Gallegos, aunts and uncles Joe Gutierrez (Clara Sue), Frank Gutierrez (Cindy), Vicente Vega, Robert Duran (Dina), Tony Salazar (Rena), Pauline Gutierrez (Carmen), Libby Romero (Felix), Karen Fresquez, God-daughter Annaleah Gutierrez, nephew Christopher Cordova, niece Cassandra Cordova, special cousins Janice Duran (Aaron) and Eunice Duran (Robert). As well as his best friends Dominic Duran, Alexa Gonzales, James Suazo, Gina Romero, Melissa Martinez, Jim Lopez, Arturo Adame, Desire Mecham and Geno Trujillo, plus many other loving relatives and friends.
Public visitation will be on Tuesday September 17, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday September 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos. A reception to follow at James Vigils Shop.
