Brandon Schrage Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Moss Funeral Home, P.C. - Breese on Dec. 11, 2025.
Brandon A. Schrage, age 36, of Carlyle, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at his home. He was born May 5, 1989, in Breese, a son of Brian and Tena (nee Sears) Schrage of Carlyle.

Brandon was the loving partner of Tiffany Keene, and together they poured their hearts into family life with his two sons, Brantley and Brody, whom he adored.

In addition to his parents, Brandon is survived by his sons, Brantley and Brody Schrage; brother, Jeremy Jones of Carlyle; nephew, Joshua Jones; aunts and uncles, Gay (Bert) Chapman of Centralia, Ronnie Sears of Salem, Vickie (Van) Bell of Wilmington, SC, Kathy Greenlee of Centralia, Sheila (Scott) Wieter of Avison, Mike (Alicia) Schrage of Aviston, Mary Jane Schrage of St. Rose, and Jim (Harriott) Schrage of Danville, IN; and numerous cousins.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Viola (nee Nichols) Sears and Alfred "Dreagon" and Alice (nee Huelsmann) Schrage; uncles, Steve Greenlee and Mark Schrage; and aunt, Barb (Luke) Lucas.

A 2007 graduate of Carlyle High School, Brandon continued his education in trade school, where he trained as a plumber and pipefitter. His hard work and dedication led him to become the owner and operator of Hubert Plumbing & Heating Co. He was a proud member of UA Local 360 in Collinsville and Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 101 in Belleville.

Brandon was known for his quick wit, warm heart, and appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed playing cards, riding horses, and spending time with the people he loved most. Nothing brought him greater joy than watching Brantley and Brody grow, especially as he cheered them on at their sporting events.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese.

In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to a fund for Brantley and Brody Schrage (checks payable to Brian Schrage) and will be received at the visitation or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St., Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
