Brandy Alexander Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Fox Funeral Home - Licking on Feb. 17, 2026.
Brandy Jean Alexander, 61, passed away on February 15, 2026, at Texas County Memorial Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Salina, Kansas, Brandy lived a life defined by fierce compassion, a free spirit, and an unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Brandy was the heart of her family and a pillar of her community, spending her life in the service of others. As the family's "lore keeper", she was a gifted storyteller who ensured that memories were never forgotten.

She found her greatest peace in nature. Whether she was hunting, fishing, creating intricate artwork and jewelry, or embarking on spirited searches for Bigfoot, Brandy embraced the outdoors with a sense of wonder. Her love for life was infectious, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who crossed her path.

Brandy is reunited in rest with her parents, Larry Monroe Alexander and Barbara Jean Alexander; husband, Larry Gene Miller; and son, Dylan Scott.

Her legacy of life continues through her husband, Alan Wayne Putnam; children, Danny (Wendy), Jasmine (Roy), Gloria (Steven), Marsha (Wayne), Alicia (Josh), Toni (Will), and Michelle (John); extended family, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who will carry her stories forward.

"The smell of the flowers passing my nose reminds me, it is your perfume.

The wind singing through the trees comforts me, it is your voice.

The kiss of cold on my cheek reassures me, it is your love.

The warm embrace of sunlight consoles me, it is your hug.

You are never truly gone."
