Brandy Lee Brown Rowberry

1981-2025

Our beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend left this earthly existence in the early morning hours of September 24th. She fought a valiant fight with all her might until she finally succumbed to metastatic breast cancer.

Over a year ago she was told she had maybe 2 months to live, well that just wasn't enough time in her book! She had things to do, people to see, and things to get right in her life. Being tough as nails and fighting with all her might she continued on. Through that journey many blessings were attained, many family ties were reconnected, and many loving moments were had.

Brandy was born in 1981 in La Mesa, California. Her childhood years were spent in California, Wyoming, Germany, and Utah. She attended Tooele, Utah schools and graduated from Tooele Adult Education. She went onto cosmetology school to become a beautician. She married Niel Rowberry, later divorced, and had a daughter MaKayla.

Brandy had many struggles with addiction during her life which led to many different forks in the road. She had 2 sons during those difficult times which she so selflessly gave up for adoption. She knew she couldn't give them the life they deserved, so she loved them enough to give them the life they needed. She loved all her children with all her might, mind, and soul. Though she was not there for them in presence she always thought of them and her heart was always wrapped around them. Before she passed she was able to reconnect with her 3 children. This was so humbling and such a blessing. There are precious moments and times that can be had in the fight for your life. God granted these moments and times to Brandy. As a family we are all so thankful for this past year and the special times that we all shared with Brandy through her fight.

Brandy was a free spirit and lived life the way she wanted. No rules! No laws! And no one telling her what to do! Those who knew her know this to be true. From the time she was small throughout her life many commented she was full of piss and vinegar, with a quirky zest for life.

So, Brandy, our little spud, our daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, we bid you adieu. We thank God for our time with you; you will be greatly missed. We love you the most! We will carry you in our hearts until we meet again.

Brandy is survived by her children Makayla, Nathan, and Ian, her mother Pamela (Donny) Mallet, father Kevin (Doreen) Brown, sisters April (Chris) Foltz, Hannah Brown, Adelyn (Benjamin) Merrell, Morganne (Zeke) Brown Johnson, stepbrothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Special thanks to Jan Mills, her hospice nurse who so tenderly and lovingly took care of Brandy and has become part of the family.

Thank you to The Inn Between for giving Brandy a warm and safe space to spend her final year.

Until we meet again, rest in peace, Brandy.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m., at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele, Utah.
