Brenda “Sue Sue” Ballam, 48, a native and resident of Cut Off an angel here on Earth gained her Angel Wings on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025.
Ms. Brenda is survived by her father: Charles O’Quin; step mother: Elizabeth “Liz” O’Quin; siblings: Tera O’Quin, Cory O’Quin (Gi Gi), Rena LeBlanc (Shane), Devin O’Quin (Lauren); step sister: Melissa Frentz (Ryan); nieces and nephews: Dayne LeBlanc (Grace), Maddox O’Quin, Jaelyn O’Quin, Madelyn O’Quin, Collin Chouest, Braelyn O’Quin, Kinsley LeBlanc, Corben Frentz, Levi Frentz, Lincoln Frentz, and soon to be great great niece: Naomi LeBlanc.
Ms. Ballam was preceded in death by mother: Brenda Faverty O’Quin; step brother: Erik Terrebonne; all maternal and paternal grandparents; biological father: Clarence Ballam; and many aunts and uncles.
Sue Sue never met a stranger, she loved any little critter she met, enjoyed puzzles, Cocomelon, but most of all she treasured the moments she spent with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank caregivers Jamie Bourgeois and Caroline Lombas for their care and compassion.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano from 9:00 am until procession to her Funeral Mass. A Celebration of her Life will begin at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off at 11:00 am with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.
