Brenda Joyce Bouie Lovett was born in Sanford, Florida, to the late Claude Lucas and Edna Bouie. She received her education through the Seminole County Public School System.
Throughout her life, Brenda resided primarily in Altamonte Springs, Florida, before establishing her home in Deltona, Florida. She was married to the late Walter Lovett, Jr., with whom she shared a committed partnership.
Professionally, Brenda served with dedication and compassion for many years at Florida Hospital (now AdventHealth).
Spiritually, Brenda was a woman deeply rooted in her faith. She was a dedicated member of Words of Life Ministries Tabernacle under the leadership and spiritual covering of Elder Sandra K. Haynes, there, she served as a Minister and Prophetess.
Having completed her earthly assignment, Brenda has now entered into her eternal rest, rejoicing in the presence of the Lord she so faithfully served.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lovett, Jr., parents, Claude Lucas and Edna Bouie, sisters, Myra Bouie, Anita Hamilton, Charlotte Wiliams, and brothers-in-law Robert Thomas, Sr. and Charles Haynes.
Left to cherish fond memories of Brenda are her children: Marlon Bouie, Sr. (Brenda), Margo Bouie Sheppard (Ronnie) and Roderick Thomas (Theresa); grandchildren: Marlon Bouie, Jr., Jarell Bouie, Hannah "Malai" Bouie, Roderick Phillips, and Issac Thomas; siblings: Edward Bouey (Anne), Corine Thomas, Linda Freeman (W.O.), Sandra Haynes, Kenneth Bouie, Derrick Bouie (Jacki) and Karen Bouey.
