Brenda Chapman Obituary
Hickory Grove - Brenda Joyce Holland Chapman, 78, of 325 High Knoll Ridge, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at her residence.
Born in Bessemer City, NC, she was the widow of Johnny Eugene Chapman Sr. and the daughter of the late Hugh Willard Holland Sr. and Della Washington Scates Holland. Brenda formerly worked in textiles and was a member of David Baptist Church of Kings Mountain.
Surviving Mrs. Chapman are her sons, Danny Holland and David Lee Merritt; her sisters, Barbara Jean Sammons and Georgia Ann Peeler; her brothers, Daniel Lee Holland, William Bill Holland, Alvin Ray Holland, and Hugh Willard "Junior" Holland Jr.; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chapman was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Eugene Chapman Jr., and her sister, Martha Holland.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the residence at 325 High Knoll Ridge in Hickory Grove, SC.
The family will be at the residence.
