Brenda Kay Collier, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, peacefully passed away on November 2, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of seventy-six. She was born on October 4, 1949, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Cecil and Merle (Gentry) Fancher and was raised with love and devotion in her hometown.
She raised and graduatedin Altus, Oklahoma and graduated Altus High School. Brenda was a high school sweethearts with Frankie Collier whom she married in her hometown of Altus, Oklahoma. Their journey led them to California, where her husband was stationed, and together they welcomed three sons into their lives.
After returning to Altus in the late 1970s, Brenda found joy and purpose working in administration at J.C. Penney's at Bunker Hill, where she dedicated many years from 1983 until her retirement in 2011. She was known for her bright spirit, good humor, and loving personality. Brenda loved collecting coins and Beanie Babies, enjoyed reading novels, and her passion for treasure hunting was evident in her love of attending auctions and garage sales.
Brenda's warmth, laughter, and caring nature touched everyone around her. She cherished her family deeply and was proud of her grandchildren, Tristan Collier, Ethan Collier, Alex Gorordo, and Javier Gorordo. She is survived by her sons Robbie Collier and wife Diana, Jeff Collier, and Tim Collier and wife Hope; her siblings Mike Fancher, Ronnie Fancher, Steve Fancher, Phillip Fancher, and Regina Fancher; and her grandchildren, Tristan Collier, Ethan Collier, Alex Gorordo Javier Gorordo, numerous nieces, nephews and to other extended family members.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Shirley Pittman, brother, Gary Fancher and her beloved husband Frankie Collier. Her legacy of love, kindness, and joyful spirit will forever live in the hearts of her family and friends.
Private family services celebrating Brenda's life will be held at a later time.
