Brenda Diane Collis, age 80, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. She was born May 26, 1945 to Jack and Cassie Vick in Ellijay, Georgia.
Brenda is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Shauna and Jason Coleman of Jasper, Lori Hill of Jasper; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Angelia Collis of Jasper, Jamie and Miranda Collis of Jasper; grandchildren, Stacia Hancock, Stephanie Hill, Leah Collis, Jake Coleman, Katie Collis, Cheyenne Coleman, Xavier Collis, Brad Ray, Alicia Ray, D.J. Newport, Bryan Newport; great-grandchildren, Skyler Hancock, Jaycee Hancock, J. D. Coleman, Blair Coleman, Preslee Coleman, Levi Mathews, Addi Mathews, Tatum Ray, Zoey Ray, Dani Claire Ray, Samuel Newport, Matthew Newport; and sister, Marlene Hewitt of Chatsworth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Collis.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 5, 2025 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Jason Hancock and Reverend Wallace Parks officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Skyler Hancock, Levi Mathews, Jake Coleman, Brad Ray, Isaiah Lacy, and Xavier Collis.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday, December 5, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
