Brenda Kathleen Davis

On Saturday, January 21, 2023, Brenda K. Davis, beloved mother of Brendan Davis and Bridget Davis, passed away following a heart attack. She was 64 years old.
Besides her children, Brenda is survived by 5 siblings and a large extended Irish family, most of whom remain in Tacoma. Her parents, Mary C. and Albert P. Davis preceded her in death and wait for her in Heaven.
Brenda was born at St. Joseph Hospital and graduated from Bellarmine High School. She completed her registered nursing training and received her Washington State Registered Nursing License. She then worked at Western State Hospital's Child Study and Treatment Center. Brenda was a true "Tacoma kid" living in Tacoma all her life with the exception of several years in Seattle and Portland.
Brenda was extremely proud both of her son Brendan who recently graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Urban Planning, and her daughter Bridget who, following in her mother's footsteps, is just completing her training as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
A rosary will be said for Brenda at 7:00pm, February 2nd at Gaffney Funeral Home, 1002 S. Yakima Ave., Tacoma, WA.
On February 3rd at 12:10pm, a Catholic Mass will be held at St. Leo Catholic Church. 713 S. 13th Street, followed by a few words from the family as we say our final goodbyes. A reception for friends and family will follow.
Interment at Calvary Cemetery, 5212 S. 70th, Tacoma, WA.
