Brenda Deroche Obituary
She was born in Jesup, GA to Doris Jordan and Louise Smith Jordan. She received her associate degree in accounting from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and worked in accounting for many years, most recently with BYRT CPAs in Waycross.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Wheeler.
She is survived by her husband, Ted Deroche of Waycross; four children, Brett Collins (Marissa) of Blackshear, Heather Thigpen (Buck) of Waycross, Eric Deroche (Lisa) of Ledyard, CT, and Jennifer Shepard (Matt) of Oakdale, CT; and five grandchildren, Chael Thigpen, Adrianna Howard, Tyler Collins, Theron Collins, and Cole Shepard.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday (December 8, 2025) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. A private burial will be held in Blackshear City Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 a.m.
