DUBOISE, Ms. Brenda - Age 67, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Heartland Health Care Center-Greenview, Grand Rapids, MI. Public Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 06 W. Flint Park Blvd., Ms. Brenda Kay Duboise was born November 17, 1957 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Dora Jean and Julian Duboise. Brenda was a resident of Grand Rapids, MI and attended Ebenezer Church. She graduated from Flint Northwestern High School. Brenda was a very kind, helpful and loving being. She loved being around family, playing cards and bingo. Brenda also loved doing crafts and watching TV. Ms. Brenda Kay Duboise leaves to cherish her memory: granddaughter, Jana Prevo; 2 sisters, Marion Jenkins and Robin Allen; brother, David DuBoise; 9 nieces; 14 nephews; aunt, Nancy Whetzel; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including special cousins, Renee Butler and Samantha Allen. Ms. Duboise was preceded in death by her daughter, Jatina Duboise; parents, Dora Jean and Julian Duboise; step-father, Bobbie Allen; sister, Rosemary Duboise; brothers, Don Wallace Duboise and Jay Duboise; aunts, Barbara Allen, Susie Butler and Beatrice Allen; uncles, William Allen Jr. and Meeker Whetzel. The family would like to express special thanks to Lewis Linwood, Rodney Allen, Robert Allen and SKLD Nursing Home.
