Brenda Faye Woodward Lawrence

Brenda Faye Woodward Lawrence, 48 of Standardsville, Va. passed away suddenly at home on March 25, 2023. She was born on July 22, 1974 in Charlottesville, VA.
She was preceded in death by her father James Woodward. She is survived by her husband Bob Lawrence, mother Frances Woodward, daughter Christina Bateman, husband Francisco, stepsons Ian and Adam Lawrence, grandson Luca and six step grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Tammy Brotman and husband Joel, brother Ronnie Woodward and wife Rhonda, sister Jamie Penton and husband Bobby; by nieces and nephews, Scott Woodward, Candice Jackson, Nikki English, Brittany Beahm, Cara Jackson, Jacob Woodward and many great nieces and nephews. In addition, she is survived by many loyal friends who will carry her in their hearts forever.
Brenda was the life of the party, and she was happiest when she was spending time with friends and family. She had a unique and contagious sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. She brightened every room she entered and never left the room until she made everyone in it smile. She had a generous heart and would give you the shirt off her back. She was full of life and a beautiful soul. She was a wonderful, loving, caring person and an amazing friend.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 31st, 11 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison with Pastor Randy Miller officiating. Interment will be in Madison Memorial Gardens.
A reception will be held at Rapidan Hunt Club following the service.
