Brenda Gariepy Obituary
She was born July 29, 1955 in Lubbock, TX to parents Marshall McAdams and Charlotte Carver McAdams. Brenda spent most of her life in Big Spring, where she met and married Edward Gariepy on August 6, 1983. Brenda was an accomplished nurse with a passion for women's health and labor and delivery. She became an RN in 1981 and went on to pursue her nurse practitioner license in 1989. Her 40 year career in nursing made an impact on countless lives and inspired her daughter to follow her footsteps.
She was an avid football fan, especially of The Cowboys & Patriots. She also had a lifetime love of reading and education, enjoying Stephen King novels the most.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Edward Gariepy of Big Spring; daughter, Alexandra Chardonae Herren (husband Ryan) of Lakewood, Colorado; grandbabies, Audrey Belle Herren & Lincoln Edward Herren; sisters, Joaney Lea Patton (husband William) of San Angelo & Rebecca Lynn Gariepy (husband Richard) of Lubbock.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte McAdams; father, Marshall McAdams; and brother Preston David McAdams.
Brenda leaves behind a legacy of love and connection through her family.
