Brenda Lee Jacques

Brenda Lee Jacques, 66, passed away on January 1, 2026. She was born on June 10, 1959, in Saginaw, MI, to Robert and Shirley (Sutton) Burtch.

Brenda found joy in life’s simple pleasures. A quiet afternoon with a Nora Roberts or Danielle Steel novel was one of her favorite escapes. She loved bird watching—especially when cardinals visited—and had a special fondness for lighthouses. Known affectionately for her enthusiastic online shopping, Brenda delighted in using it to spoil her grandbabies, who were truly the center of her world. Her happiest moments were spent caring for the people she loved most.

Brenda is survived by her sons, Alexander (Amanda) Jacques and Scott (Katrina) Jacques; her grandchildren, Jenna, Madison, and Carlie Jacques, Jasmin Bular, and Case Mroczek; and her great grandchildren, Marilyn and Weston. She is also survived by her brothers, Joseph Burtch, Gary Burtch, and Curt Snow; her sister, Sandy Snow; her nieces, Rachel and Elizabeth; her nephew, Jacob; her sister in law and her spouse, Diane and Dave, and their daughters, Tracy and Sara. Brenda leaves behind her beloved dog, Lucky, as well as many extended family members and friends whom she held close to her heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Brian A. Jacques, and her sister, Shelly Snow.

A funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. Family and friends may visit at the funeral chapel on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those wishing to offer an expression of sympathy may consider a donation to the family.
