Brenda was an avid reader, she loved books and learning as well as teaching and sharing her knowledge. She loved writing and was a published poet. She also loved dancing and music, she was a ballerina, and a very gifted modern dancer. She loved music, all kinds of music. She also loved to laugh, she had a healthy sense of humor and a big belly laugh that could brighten any day. Brenda's most cherished accomplishment was definitely the work she did with her patients. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Master's degree from Wesley College in English Literature. She earned her Doctorate at Smith College in Northampton Massachusetts, she co-led an international graduate students of color group for many years, and at Princeton University she was one of the founding members of the Eating Disorder Team. Brenda has so many markable accomplishments to many to list but all well deserved.
