Brenda Gale Kidd

Brenda Gale Kidd, age 54 of Port Deposit MD passed away on January 20, 2019 after her long battle with cancer. She was born on December 22, 1964 in Indiana to the late Morris Kidd and Linda Kidd. Brenda graduated from Perryville High School in 1982. After graduation, she became an employee for ACME Food Market in North East, MD and was later transferred to the Elkton, MD location. She worked as a meat cutter in the meat department and later became manager. After 20 plus years at ACME, she moved on to work for Harvest Fare Food Market in Fallston, MD where she continued to be the manager. She loved her family and always put them first. She cooked meals at family gatherings and made sure to spend time with her children. She looked forward to the birth of her first granddaughter, Jenna Grace "Baby Bambino". Brenda enjoyed flower gardening, camping, going to the beach, and quilting. She loved birds of all kinds, but blue birds were her favorite. Brenda is survived by her mother who raised her, Linda Kidd of Elkton, MD; son, Steven B. Smith and his wife, Amanda of Rising Sun, MD; daughters: Mara Ragan and her husband, Justin of Port Deposit, MD and Taylor Musick of Port Deposit, MD; brothers: Ronald Kidd of Port Deposit, MD and Eric Kidd of Rising Sun, MD; sisters: Tina Harvey of Port Deposit, MD and Chrissy Hilliker of Elkton, MD; and granddaughter, Jenna Grace Ragan. A celebration of Brenda's life will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at R.T. Foard Funeral Home, P.A., 111 South Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD 21911. Family and friends may attend the visitation beginning at 10:00AM.
