Brenda Kitts Obituary
Miss Brenda Faye Kitts, age 76 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023. Brenda was a lifelong member of Rock Creek Church of God where she served as Church Clerk. She was hired by LaFollette Community Hospital in 1965 and served in many different capacities throughout the hospital in her 50+ years, most recently in the cafeteria. Brenda was also a devoted caregiver for her Mother until her passing in 2020. She is preceded in death by Parents, Hershel “Sob” and Julia Ada Kitts, and Brother-in-law, Hillard Thornbury.
Survivors: Brother, Wayne Kitts and Wife, Lovada; Sister, Carolyn Sue Thornbury; Nieces and Nephews, Sheila Ross and Husband, Norm, Bryan Thornbury and Wife, Connie, Selena Pierce, Allison Poston, and Hubert Kitts and Wife, Nicole; Several Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews; Aunt, Evelene Botkin.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Wade Walls and Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Miss Brenda Faye Kitts.
