Brenda Carol Ledford, 64, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on December 7, 2024, after a tough battle with congestive heart failure. She was born in McAlester, Oklahoma, on August 23, 1960, to James and Carolyn (Pingleton) Daniels.
Brenda graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1978. She met Gerald Ledford in 1975, and they were wed in 1978. They were blessed with two children, Amber and Josh.
Brenda worked as an inventory control clerk in a retail grocery store. After retiring in 2021, she spent her time being involved with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. They were the light of her life.
Brenda was predeceased by the love of her life, Gerald Ledford; parents, James and Carolyn Daniels; father-in-law, Cecil Ledford; and granddaughter, Emmarie Ledford.
Loved ones left behind are Brenda’s daughter, Amber Alexander and husband, Daniel; son, Josh Ledford and wife, Jayden; granddaughter, Alexis Alexander and fiancé, Devin Sacks; granddaughter, Haylee Alexander; granddaughter, Taryn Alexander and fiancé, Blake Beasley; grandson, Keegan Alexander and wife, Liz; grandkids: Khyler, Allee, Quintin, Jaxson, Wrenley; great grandkids: Baylor, Karson, Arlo, Jentry, Josie, Huxton; brother, James Daniels and wife, Shelly; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, 1:00 p.m., at Temple Baptist Church, 1234 E. Highland St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74801.
