Brenda Ann Lee-Irving departed this life Sunday, February 9, 2025. Born May 19, 1961 in Lynchburg, Va, to the late Major Andrew Lee and Mary Alice Lee. Brenda was preceded in death by her eldest son, Larry D. Irving, Jr.
Brenda leaves a loving and abundant family to Celebrate her life and homegoing. Her devoted and loving son, Lee Irving and a caring and devoted daughter in law, Jayme Irving and step daughter Dominique Irving. She is survived by her brothers, Arthur B. Ross (Patricia), Norfolk, Va. Lewis Lee, Rustburg, Va. Her sisters, Penny Burfurd, Madison Heights, Va., Shelia Lee(Irving), Lynchburg, Va., Rose Lee-Miller (Clay Miller), Concord, Va. She is also survived by the light of her life, her 16 grandchildren, She is also blessed to have 3, great grandchildren. Brenda also had a devoted life friend, Milford Ford. Along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
At a young age Brenda accepted Christ and was baptized and became a member of the Fifth Street Baptist Church. Brenda devoted her life to healthcare, becoming an LPN and working for various organizations in Lynchburg, before her health declined. She frequently helped others in the community at the Daily Bread and Salvation Army.
Brenda had a wicked sense of humor and was a lover of R & B music, she was a very kind and humble person with a good spirit and a loving heart. She also was an excellent cook.
Rest dear sister, you now have peace. We love you and will miss you.
There will be a service at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 4 P.M.
