Miss Moore was born June 21, 1947 in Carbon Hill, the youngest child of the late Albert Lee and the late Stella Catherine (Hendon) Moore. She was also preceded in death by her infant sister Linda Carrine, older brother James Brack "Jim" Moore, sister-in-law Jacqueline Isabella Mims Moore, and nephew-in-law John Gober Isom.
She is survived by her niece Heidi Moore Dasinger (husband David L.); great-niece Sloan Isom Becker (husband Brian Andrew); great-niece Mary Morlan Aiken (husband Jeremiah Lee) and their children great-great-nieces Auden Noelle (10); Asher Rayne (8); and great-great-nephews Ronan Lee (6); and Elijah John (4).
Birmingham native Moore holds a Bachelor of Theology Degree from Berean Bible College. After a lifetime of employment in administrative support roles in various industries, her last professional position was as Human Resources Officer and Manager, East AL, Regions Bank beginning her career as a staff assistant in the HR Department in 1988, and retiring a quarter of a century later. She was a member of the Birmingham Society of Human Resource Management and the American Institute of Banking.
Brenda encountered Christ, was born again, and filled with the Holy Spirit in her late twenties. She was then a faithful member of Huffman Assembly of God, Birmingham and committed to sharing the Gospel as the Holy Spirit led with many who crossed her path. She was a fierce prayer warrior and later devoted member of Harvest Church's prayer intercessors, "The Glory Girls." A devoted member of Harvest for several of her later decades, she carried out what she referred to as her "Walmart Ministry," sharing the Gospel with and praying for those the Lord highlighted to her as she shopped. Brenda was a very devoted daughter, caring for both parents until their deaths; sister to her beloved brother; and aunt, great-aunt, and great-great-aunt to many who she prayed for regularly and "on demand." She truly loved her family deeply, delighting in time spent together.
A multi-decade, avid, University of Alabama, arm-chair, football fan, she loved watching the Crimson Tide play alongside her brother "JB" and at times her great nephew-in-law "Miah" and nephew David. She also enjoyed working at and shopping yard sales, caring for her lawn, and savored ice-cold cans of Caffeine-Free, Diet Coke!
