Brenda Louise Baer Munk, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025 at home. She was born on June 24, 1949, in Logan, Utah. She was the daughter of LeGrand Joseph Baer and Elda Rich Baer. Brenda married Richard Howard Munk on September 14, 1968, and together they created a loving home filled with joy and laughter.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They were sealed as a family on January 7, 1984 in the Provo Temple. Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, nana, and friend, and her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.
Brenda was an adventurous spirit who loved to travel and cherished weekends spent at the family cabin. She dedicated her time to helping children with special needs and volunteered with NAMI and other local charities, she was one who was always eager to lend a helping hand. She was a true Disney enthusiast, Brenda found joy in all things Disney. She loved the cultural arts and was evident in her passion for music and the vibrant soundtrack of her life. She had a flair for fashion, often adorned in her favorite bling.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Richard; her children; Jason (Jennifer) Munk, Michelle (Marty) Koopmans, Emily (Dave) Churchtown, Phillip (Erika) Munk, was the best nana to her grandchildren; Owen, Logan, Alexis, Kylee, Megyn, Makenna, Kloe, Kayla, Isabella, Rhys, Tristan. and her Great Grandkids Stetson, Hudson, Aspen and many dear friends who will miss her dearly.
A celebration of Brenda's life will be held on from 10-11:30 am with a funeral service at 12(noon) on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Memorial Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary 4670 South Highland Drive. Interment will follow at Memorial Holladay Cemetery.
Brenda's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
