Brenda Newsome Obituary
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie McArthur Hinkle, Sr.; her daughter, Rhonda Kay Hinkle; and her brothers, William "Junebug" Newsome, Rush Franklin Newsome, and Albert Eugene Newsome.
Brenda was a homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family and keeping a loving home. She will be especially remembered as an amazing Nana. She enjoyed sitting on her porch with a cup of coffee, no matter the weather. When she was able, she enjoyed going to bingo, and she cherished her fur babies, Trouble and Lucky.
She is survived by her children: Michael Eugene Hinkle and his wife Regina of Foley, AL, William "Bill" Franklin Hinkle of SC, Ronnie McArthur Hinkle, Jr. and his wife Pam of Matewan, WV, and Brenda Lee Hinkle and her significant other, Bruce Fields, of Matewan, WV. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mikayla Hinkle, Skylar Hinkle, Cody Hinkle, Mallory Hinkle, Dathan Hinkle, Laikyn Hinkle, Garon Hinkle, and Mason Hinkle.
Brenda is also survived by her sisters, Martha Jane "Mot" Newsome of Williamson, WV, and Beverly "Kay" Hatfield (David Reed) of Aflex, KY, along with her special friends, Darlene, Maggie, Mary, and Rose.
The family will begin receiving friends in the Chambers Funeral Services chapel on Sunday, February 15, 2026, with visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Honoring services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chambers Chapel with Pastor Mitchel Bias officiating. Burial will follow in the Hinkle Family Cemetery of Taylorville, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
