To Blair and Johnnie and the entire Helton/Pope family
I just learned of the passing of our dear friend today. Our heart is so heavy. Your mom was one of a kind. She touched so many lives and hearts. I met Brenda in the 1990s, in the later years our boys went to high school together. We were the proudest parents at that Mother-Son dance (escorted by our young men). We will truly miss her. Brenda also extended herself and became very close to my Sister and Niece. Please know that you all have our deepest sympathy.

My heart is broken and heavy! I met Brenda in 1989, I followed her growing hands for over 23 years, when I moved I would still fly back to hangout with Brenda and get my hair done. She quickly became one of my homies. We worshipped together, laughed and cried! I knew she loved the Lord with her whole, therefore Im comforted. To the family, I send my love and condolences to you, she truly loved and adored you all. Earth hath no sorrow Heaven cant heal. Peace and ❤!
