Brenda Kay Ramsey, of Bruceville, Indiana, passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 79.

She was born in Vincennes, Indiana on March 10, 1946 to Leo and Betty Stephens. She graduated from Bruceville High School, and after enjoyed many years working at Good Samaritan Hospital from which she retired. Brenda married the love of her life, Robert Ramsey, on October 26, 1963, and together they were blessed with four children. She was an active member of the Bruceville Community Church, and had a passion for helping others. In her leisure, she spent time with her family, watched her favorite soaps, The Young and the Restless and The Days of Our Lives, and played Monopoly Go! with her sister, Patty.

Brenda was a loving, lively soul, who will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children Kyla (John) Lee, Tim Ramsey, and Amanda (Andy) Morrison; grandchildren Autumn Hurst, Braelyn Hurst, Caleb Morrison, Sabra Lankford, Davis Ramsey, Camden Ramsey, Gabriel Morrison, Shelby Morrison, and Andrea Morrison; great-grandchildren Lilly, Niah, and Ava; siblings Tom (Sandy) Stephens and Vernon (Dixie) Stephens; her aunt Joyce Norrick, and by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Leo Stephens; mother Betty and stepfather Jake Vantlin; husband Robert Ramsey; infant daughter Janie Jo Ramsey; sister and brother-in-law Patty and Mark Sullivan; and by her nephew Greg Stephens.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Ramsey. A private graveside service will be held at Bruceville Cemetery.
