Brenda Watson Obituary
Mrs. Watson was born on January 23, 1943, in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Gilbert Watts and the late Ruby Waddell Watts. She worked as the Assistant Vice President at the Bank of Upson and was a member of The Gathering Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James Watts and sister Gerrell Barnes.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Watson of Thomaston, daughters, Wendy Kinsela of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Lane (Benjamin) Coggins of Thomaston, sister-in-law, Sara Watts, and grandchildren, Conner Watson Kinsela, and Larkin Watts Coggins, many cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. from The Gathering Church. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at The Gathering Church. There will be a private family burial following the service.
