It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loved one, Brenda K. Whisenhunt, in the early hours of October 20, 2025. Brenda was born in Dumas, Arkansas, on December 08, 1952, to Roy and Yvonne Gayler.

Brenda married Billy Whisenhunt on November 16, 1968, in the Felker community. In 1975 she was baptized and became one of the many Witnesses of Jehovah. Brenda attended the Kingdom Hall in Valliant. She was a loving and generous person who delighted in spending time with friends and family, gardening, canning her home grown produce, and delighting in a good bargain.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Gayler; her mother, Yvonne Gayler of Wright City; and her sisters Joyce Jackson of Glover and Tanya Johnson Baker of Wright City.

Brenda is survived by her devoted husband, Billy Whisenhunt, of the home. Her children include Todd Whisenhunt and wife Christy of Pryor, Oklahoma; BJ Michael Whisenhunt and wife Becky of Tyler, Texas; and Brad Whisenhunt and wife Stormy of Stigler, Oklahoma, two sisters; Theresa and Patricia, She leaves behind grandchildren Alexis, Dillon, Josh, Trey, Emily, Winter and Braxton; great grandchild Adrian,; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will deeply miss her warm presence.
