Brenda Sue Wilson, 73, of Lodi, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025 after a lengthy illness.
Brenda was born on August 7, 1952, in Weston, WV to Denver and Edna G. (Cogar) Brown. She married Glenn Wilson Sr. on February 20, 1971, and they shared 54 wonderful years together. Brenda worked at Virmurco Candy Company in Seville for 14 years retiring as the warehouse manager. She had a passion for horses and loved riding as well as showing. Brenda also enjoyed going hunting, fishing, taking care of her chickens, helping with 4-H, doing crafts, and spending time with her family.
Surviving is her husband, Glenn; daughter and son-in-law Kelly and Kevin Homonai of Metter, GA; daughter-in-law, Terri Wilson of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Megan, Courtney, Travis, Stacey, Rowen, and Austin; great-grandchildren, Destonee, Estella, Brice, Raelynn, Hartlynn, Hazel, Hudson; and sister, Judy (Ron) Borkey of North Royalton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Glenn Wilson Jr., and sister Linda Oleniacz.
Calling hours will be Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. with services following at 4:30 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Joe Williams officiating with a funeral dinner following at Victory Baptist Church, 8343 Harris Rd, Lodi, OH 44254. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284.
