I never personally spoke with him, but Brendan was a really good guy. I understood him. He taught me some valuable lessons for life. It breaks my heart that I never got to meet him.

i´ll forever cherish the memories i got to share with brendan. he was one of those people who would light up the room with his awesome smile and personality. we had so many fun times rollerblading, exploring, and hammocking together. spending time with him was both exciting and peaceful, he was one of the most welcoming and warm-hearted people i have ever met. i´ll always be thankful that i got the chance to know brendan and a piece of him will always live on in all the people who loved him and were loved by him

We are so saddened by this terrible, unexpected news. From all the Carroll cousins, Brendan will be sincerely missed. We all have fond memories of us as kids all playing hide and seek at night, exploring around the lake, and doing spontaneous boat rides. Our deepest condolences go out to all that loved Brendan.

Brendan was a phenomenal coworker who I would always be comfortable talking with him about things outside of work, and he would always give me advice, so many funny moments, what a tragic loss that´s hard to accept. My deepest condolences to his family.

I will be eternally grateful for all the hours we spent rollerblading in chicago, admiring Duffy, or just doing nothing and loving every minute because everything was special with Bread. Brendan truly had a very busy schedule being everyone's favorite person, but he would always make time for someone when they needed to smile (the Brendan guarantee). We could walk to 7/11 and it would be the highlight of my week.
My only consolation right now is that Brendan gave so much of himself to everyone he loved, and because of that he will always be here with all of us. I will see him in every tie dye swirl and smooth stretch of sidewalk (preferred turf for blading). Sharing all the love I will always have for Brendan to his family and loved ones. Love forever, fi
