Brendhan B. Harris, 59, a resident of Merrimack, NH, died on December 23, 2024.
He was born on February 15, 1965, in Cambridge, MA, a son of Harry and Connie (Merrick) Harris.
Brendhan was raised in Hanover MA. After graduating from Hanover High School, Brendhan joined the U.S. Army from 1984 to 1987. After his honorable discharge, he joined the Virginia Beach Police Department, serving from 1987 to 1997. During his service as a Police Officer, he achieved the rank of Master Police Officer (MPO) and was awarded the Medal of Merit. After his service, he gained an associate degree from Southern New Hampshire University. In 2007, he joined the Insurance Department for the State of New Hampshire. He devoted tireless hours in the service to his community and remained dedicated to his work and this state.
Brendhan grew up enjoying his summers in West Dennis Beach, Cape Cod with family and later in life spending time with his dog Dutch and his children Connor and Victoria. He went out of his way to help those around him. Even after he retired from the Virginia Beach Police Department, he selflessly helped those around him no matter the personal cost. He will forever be loved by his family and all who knew him.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Annabelle Harris, his two children, his son, Brendhan C. Harris of Merrimack, NH, and his daughter, Victoria R. Harris also of Merrimack, NH, and his sister, Kristen Nichols of Duxbury, MA.
SERVICES: Following cremation, calling hours will be held on January 10, 2025, from 4pm to 6pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Burial will be private for the family at a later date.
