Brendlee Waldrup Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by WINFREY'S MUTUAL FUNERAL HOME INC - ATHENS on Feb. 8, 2026.
Brendlee Dawn Waldrup was born on September 3, 2025, and though her time on this earth was brief, her impact was immeasurable. At just five months old, Brendlee showed the world a depth of strength, sweetness, and love far beyond her tiny frame.

Brendlee was known for her bright eyes, her love of lights and aquariums, and the peaceful way she rested in the arms of those who loved her most. She found comfort in closeness, warmth, and familiar voices-especially in her mama's arms, which were her favorite place in the world. In her quiet moments, she radiated a purity and innocence that words cannot fully capture.

Born with an extremely rare mitochondrial disorder, Brendlee faced challenges no child ever should, yet she met each day with quiet resilience. She taught those around her about courage, unconditional love, and what it truly means to treasure every moment. Her life, though short, was filled with tenderness, devotion, and a love that will never fade.

Brendlee is survived by her loving parents, Catherine Knott and Tommy Waldrup; her sisters, Addison Waldrup and Kinsley Hulings; and her grandparents, Robin Simmons, Nathan Simmons, Stephen Heggood, Kim Heggood, Tommy Waldrup Sr., and Toni Waldrup. She is also survived by extended family and loved ones who cherished her deeply and will carry her memory forever.

No matter what, no matter when, no matter where-Brendlee Dawn will always be loved.
